Beauty Products: Gluten Friendly MakeUp

This week, I have decided to focus on beauty products. Did you know that gluten hides in not only food, but products we use on our skin daily. Crazy, right?!? Your skin is the biggest organ in/on your body. It absorbs all kinds of nutrients and toxins. So be careful what you put on your body.

Today I had the great pleasure of interviewing Chelsea McKiernan. She is a representative for Younique make-up.

Cori: What is Younique and how long has this been around?

Chelsea: Younique was founded in September 2012 buy a brother & sister in Utah. Younique is a makeup and skincare line made to validate and empower women all over the world. It's a mission based company, who has funded The Younique Foundation for abused women and girls and created a special Retreat for them to heal at.

Cori: What drew you to them over BareMinierals or Clinique or other well known brands?

Chelsea: I was drawn to Younique from a video I saw about the Liquid Foundation! I decided to give it a try because the prices were reasonable and the products were natural, as well as it supported a great cause! The first time I used the foundation...I was hooked!! Loved it all so much I became a presenter!

Cori: Their products are gluten free? What else makes them fabulous?

Chelsea: Most of our products are free of ingredients derived from common gluten sources (such as wheat, oats, rye and barley). Their also fabulous because they don't contain harsh chemicals.

Cori: Do they have face care products or are they make-up only?

Chelsea: Ooooh such a hard decision....I LOVE the concealer & foundation! And the 3D Mascara! Haha everything is fabulous!!
